Baper Rasta: your first run in three cities
A tea stall on the corner. A bus filling the lane. A battery that will not last forever. Your first Baper Rasta run does not need a spectacular score. It needs one good turn, one place to recharge and enough room for the next decision.

This guide is for the independent game on baperrasta.app. You drive an electric cargo trike, build a street score and try to keep the run alive. Dhaka is the starting map; New York and Riyadh change the atmosphere and traffic side. The actual game pictures below show our playable scenes. The two editorial illustrations are marked separately.
Start with one clean turn.
Press Start Driving and give yourself a simple task: pass a parked vehicle, slow down and turn without holding a steering key for too long. Hold W or ↑ to move, use A and D to steer, and press S or ↓ to brake. Keep holding the brake after stopping and the trike can reverse.
The mistake to avoid is trying every button at once. Leave boost alone until you can keep a line. Then try a brief Shift or Space burst on an open stretch. Speed helps when there is somewhere clear to go; it makes a crowded junction harder to read.

Same trike. A different rhythm outside.
Dhaka starts you among tea kiosks, river gardens and green rickshaws. New York brings brick blocks, fire escapes, yellow taxis and a park beside a stylized glass skyline. Riyadh adds pale buildings, palm shade, an oasis and dunes. Look at the street before moving: Dhaka uses left-hand traffic, while New York and Riyadh use right-hand traffic.
All three use the same driving simulation. You do not need to learn a different boost button in the desert. You do need to reconsider the side of the road you approach at a junction. These are fictional procedural districts inspired by local scenery, not geographic reconstructions of real streets.
Your language is a separate choice. Keep English, Bengali or Arabic while switching maps, or change language without leaving your current city. Baper Rasta stays written as the name; the surrounding instructions change with your selection.

Make charging a habit before it is a rescue.
The small map sits beneath the battery readout. Yellow markers identify charging stations; pink markers identify settlement stops. Tap the map to expand it and pause driving. The map uses the same positions as the 3D street, so a marker is a real destination in the game world.
Choose a yellow pad early. Approach slowly, stop on it and watch the battery percentage. Passing near a station does not charge the trike. An empty battery leaves you pedalling more slowly, which makes a following crowd much harder to shake. Boost drains charge faster, so save it for a clear exit rather than holding it through the entire run.

Know when another hit is not worth the road ahead.
Small vehicles and roadside targets can add points. Another eligible hit within 3.2 seconds increases the combo, but each target pays only once per run. The practical question is what happens after the hit. A new score is little help if a heavy bus closes your only exit.
Hard impacts with buses and trucks can finish the run. Open manholes are another reason to look beyond the vehicle directly in front of you. Owners can follow and grab the trike, slowing it down. Keep moving, use a short boost when the way is clear, or find a pink settlement pad if you can afford its score cost.
Pink is not yellow: settlement spends some score to end a chase; it does not recharge. H sounds the horn. B sends a sonic pulse when its cooldown is ready. Treat these as tools to practice, rather than substitutes for a clear route.
Finish your run. Give a friend something to beat.
The recap records your score, time on the road, distance, hits and best combo. At 50 points you qualify for the shared leaderboard. Each city has weekly and all-time lists, keeping one best result per driver in each list. Add a nickname and check your position without creating a social-login account.
Use Invite Friends from the menu for a map invitation, or from the result screen for a score challenge. The link preserves your city, language and target where present. Your friend starts a separate run and sees the score to beat. This is an asynchronous challenge, so you can compare attempts without needing to arrive at the same time.
You can save the original run card as an image. Supported browsers can also export the ending clip. Keep the recap open while saving, and check the submission message: a result stored on your device is different from a score successfully saved to the shared league.
Three runs. Three small improvements.
- Run one: find your line. Drive, brake and make a controlled turn without boost.
- Run two: prove you can charge. Open the map, find yellow, stop and watch the percentage increase.
- Run three: leave a target. Build a qualifying score, check the recap and invite a friend.
On a phone, hold the pedal and steer with your other thumb; try landscape if the map feels cramped. If the scene stutters, close other demanding tabs. Sound starts after a deliberate tap or click, so check the in-game mute setting and device volume after starting a run.
Keep the complete controls beside your practice: English, বাংলা or العربية.
